Scott,

The Advocacy movement started with Fred Reichheld at Bain and his site below

http://resultsbrief.bain.com/videos/0402/main.html

makes the case for the ultimate advocacy question very well ie one question “would you recommend us to a friend”?

Having been measured and paid on my advocacy score the issue is about what to do that can impact the score. When you ask that the ultimate question has holes in it.

I’ve been working with Professor Tom Lambert to devise an assessment of advocacy and the remedies to set it on track.

Woould you or other bloogers be interested to share ideas about what build advocacy rather than simply how to track it?

I’ve put some ideas at www.business-sensei.com and a blog at www.urban-achievers.com

I’d love to share thoughts about what drives people o become advocates as they are the lead indicator of growth.
