I agree. Astra Zeneca will never fully outsource. A mixed model somewhere between an outsource and insourced model would be the best for AstraZeneca.

Top management and board members typically have little background in manufacturing and the head of manufacturing usually reports to someone in the commercial organization rather than directly to the CEO.
That is the concern, if they are ill informed and lack experience it makes sense that they will be ill informed to be making decisions of outsourcing processes.
