People fear the unknown. Having any type of surgical procedure is scary. Having it in a courntry where your native language may not be understood, where customs may be different and trusting the expertise of physicians you do not know are all constraints on the growth of medical tourism. People need to be educated about how much more advance some countries are in specific treatments than the US. I think we have a long wat to go in that department
