Opening Sessions

Vidar Jorgensen, the chairman of WHCC, is up on stage just now opening up the first session and demonstrating the audience participation elements provided by www.visiontree.com that enable people to submit questions.
The opening session is on “Improving Performance in Healthcare” and we’re going to start with a recorded video presentation from Prof Muhammad Yunus, some of which you can see in the previous post to this blog. To show why we have a banker talking about healthcare, we’ve been given a handout from Gapminder Foundation showing the extraordinary improvements in child mortality in Bangladesh which is attributed to the micro-loan system pioneered by Prof Yunus’s Grameen Bank.
